The Flyers are reportedly going to play a game outdoors in Lake Tahoe against the Boston Bruins on February 21, 2021, according to a report from Elliotte Friedman:
What a New Year’s Day this has turned out to be. Our very own Andy Gorel wrote an article on this approximately two months ago in a way for the NHL to get fans back in the seats sooner rather than later, of course working closely with government or state regulations.
There has been no official word from the Flyers are the Bruins, but Friedman is a well renown reporter so I believe this report to be accurate. Whatever the case maybe folks, it looks like the Flyers will take the game outside for a day.
