It’s just great to be home, it’s a sense of relief, the home cooking, seeing family and friends. The Flyers are always happy to see Oskar Lindblom. Lindblom took to the ice at the Flyers Skate Zone today, and one can just see his jubilant face:
Lindblom brightens everyone’s day, as Alain Vigneault loves the kid. The young man in Lindblom paid a visit to the Flyers in practice back in January. He gives them a sense of hope, and is a ray of sunshine. Lindblom is so strong, and mentally tough. Vigneault calls him “Sunshine”:
This young man Lindblom will not be available for the 24 team playoff tournament I’m told, however it is always great to see him lace those skates up and be with the boys. He has entered the final stages of his treatment process:
“I’ve been on the ice a few times,” Lindblom said today, “Still tough not being able to do what you used to do. It was great though I can’t wait to play hockey. The Flyers have great chances this year. Not a lot of treatments left, I’m almost done, soon. People have it worse.”
Athletes are human too. Lindblom is always happy, upbeat, and in good spirits daily. It’s tough for a team to lose that type of upbeat personality in the locker room. Whatever the case maybe, Lindblom its always great to see you back home, and on the ice with the boys. Everyone remain #OskarStrong. We are in this fight together with Lindblom.
