You should rewatch the Dallas series then. He was completely atrocious the while series.

He was already starting to slow down and he totally shit the bed in the playoffs.

I understand that you’re a fan and he was a fan favorite down there for many years.

That’s no reason to make excuses for him. He isn’t the player he once was and now the Flyers are stuck with a guy who’s on the wrong end of 30 for the next 6 years.

Nothing I said was inaccurate. Again rewatch him in the Dallas series.

He is a solid defender and his presence will be missed here in Nashville
With habit a young D corp in Philly he will be a great mentor, much like niskanen was before his sudden retirement

Well, it was certainly a good thing we got rid of of a bust and a non-NHLer but sorry folks, Ryan Ellis is not the answer.

I really wonder if Chuck Fletcher actually watches hockey games. Because Ryan Ellis just came off of one the absolute worst playoff performances in a series for a defenseman I’ve ever seen vs. Dallas this past year.

He was manhandled and/or ragdolled on nearly every shift he took. He was brutalized on the PK throughout the series.

Hearing Fletcher say he is good on the PK is laughable.

He’s also 30 years old. We have this midget (he’s really not 5′ 10″) for the next 6 years at a $6.25 million cap hit until he’s 36!

Chuck Fletcher is an absolute moron.
