Fletcher seriously needs to go. Case in point: The signing of an ” Elite ” Defenseman in Ryan Ellis. Looked up this guy’s track record. In 11 NHL Seasons; he’s only played 1 Full Season at 82 Games. IF I’m the Flyers GM I dont make that trade just because of that. What good is an ” Elite ” Defenseman if he’s never on the damn ice? Flyers; you eye for talent; and then developing that Talent blows. Literally. It’s horrible the way this Organization is being run. The way its going; we might never see a Cup for the next 25 years. NOT Kidding.

The Flyers seem to be suffering from the curse of the Broad Street Bullies.. As good as the Flyers we’re in that era, they left a bad taste in the NHL’s mouth. One that still follows them to this day. No matter who’s in the lineup, who’s coaching them, who the owner is… The past is going to haunt them. We have had some great lineups over the years. What opened my eyes to my opinion was when they lost to the Red Wings in the Stanley cup, Boston Bruins goal from behind the net, Tampa Bay Lightning.. I am personally mentally beat up from watching this current team being denied a win because of the 1970’s issues the NHL commissioner had with the team. We all know this club has what it takes to win the Cup… Get over your grudge and let us play Flyer Hockey…..

They need to continue to draft defenseman and they need at least two young forwards that can put the puck in the net. Laughton, TK, Lindbloms just don’t get it done. Trade G for a 1st. Trade JVR to move capital and retool from there. Bad coaching, Injuries, and Covid did this team in. They are better than this but need to get some offensive talent. (Debrusk, Crouse, Rankall are all on the block, Chrychrum would be nice as well)

If the Flyers are going to rebuild, then a new GM should be brought in before trade deadline. As for Giroux, new team needs to determine what it will take to bring him back next season and then decide whether team can afford it. Remember, many night Giroux is the only reason to watch team. Since this is a business, letting the guy who puts butts in the expensive seats go should not be done rashly and blindly. The teams needs to do whatever take to get rid of JVR, Yandle, and Travis K. Braun and Martin Jones could also bring in some assets.

Simply lackluster, no fire captain of the team, Giroux, he has done nothing but pad stats. He definitely leads by his example and we have our team the way it is, fall flat on your face embarrassment.

Cf should be fired immediatly and we can pray comcast sells. Your plan is a blow up btw. I think everyone realizes that they cannot turn 25 players over in a year. Trading 9 and basicalling redoing the 4th line again is a blow it up plan. You also have 0 credibility if you want to resign risto, 0. He is One of the worst defenseman in the league statistical and will be overpaid and on too much term if resigned. Please stop already with the toughness garbage, it’s not 1975 anymore.

More than anything, a new future identity needs to be selected and all players from that point should picked based on that identity.
