Here’s something that Flyer fans and even the Flyer coaches don’t know about Phillippe Myers. He is outstanding in shootouts. I wish the coaches would watch him go one on one with the Flyer’s goalies in practice just to see what I’m talking about. I was at a development camp practice two years ago and after the regular practice was over and fans and players left the Skate Zone, Myers came back out onto the ice with a very good Flyers goalie to work On shoot outs. Myers put ten straight shotS pst that goaltender, using a variety of moves. I wish I had recorded the whole thing. David Kase was also involved in the shoot out that day and had nowhere near the success Myer’s had.
