Maybe bring in Simon Nemec if you can get him out of New Jersey. And you’d have a nice little Chek connection going already. Necas, Vladar, and Nemec would be some deadly additions to make. And Nemec would (Hopefully) allow Tochett to move Sanheim back to his natural side. Maybe send out Bonk with Andrae in a package with picks? Would hurt losing Bonk but if you’re getting a young, elite level (RD), 2nd overall guy with size and skill, with top pairing potential in S.Nemec back…. Who cares! Send them out. Neither have a ceiling like Nemec.

Moves like these would be a significant step towards legitimately being perpetually competitive in the playoffs without NEEDING top5 picks.

And Martin Necas to play as another top6 Center with Michkov. Send out Tippet and Brink with one or two prospects, maybe add theLeafs 2027 1st, and some draft picks. Could always recoup an extra 1st round pick with Dvorak and or Ristolainen retainimg some salary for a season and adding a 2nd and or 3rd. Tell me how NASTY a forward group this could be.
