Ilya Pautov has signed three-year Entry-Level-Contract (ELC) with the Flyers.

Paultov was drafted by the Flyers in the 6th round (173rd overall) of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Here is a quick profile:

David Jiricek absolutely dominated last night for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in their 4-3 overtime victory over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (on March 14, 2026).

The Phantoms rallied from being down 3-1 late in the third—Oliver Bonk scored on the Power Play to make it 3-2, then Lane Pederson tied it with 1:04 left on the 6-on-5 to force OT. Pederson sealed it just 10 seconds into the extra frame on a 4-on-3 PP.

Jiricek was all over the scoresheet with three assists, including setups on the tying goal and the overtime winner. That’s huge production from the young defenseman (the former sixth overall pick) in just his third game with the Phantoms since the trade from the Minnesota Wild (for Bobby Brink).

Overall, since joining, has one goal and three assists—solid reset and showing why the Flyers are high on him for next season. He’s looking like a key piece down there, especially with the Phantoms pushing for playoffs.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are indeed going through a rough patch right now in the 2025-26 AHL season. As of early February 2026, they’re sitting at 21-20-2-2 (46 points) after 45 games, placing them fifth in the Atlantic Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference. That’s right around .500 hockey, but they’ve been trending downward—last 10 games: 2-8-0-0, with a current streak of 0-3-0-0 (including back-to-back losses).Recent results highlight the struggles:

• February 7: Lost 5-1 at Bridgeport Islanders (Liam Foudy hat trick for Bridgeport; Phantoms struggled with execution, turnovers, and goaltending).
• February 6: Lost 6-5 at home to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (showed some fight with a late rally, but early/third-period lapses cost them).
