I think that was the plan with drafting Patrick, but it failed because Hextall did not listen to his scout, and simply draft Elias Petterson! Or game changing defenders like Heiskanen or Makar, and trade for center! For now our team is one great center away from success, and if Frost is not that guy, because i don”t think Brassard is that missing piece, we should trade Konecky for example with some draft picks to go along or prospects for great pretty young center, like Winnipeg did in case of Dubois! Right wingers we have in Allison and others coming in the prospect pool, like Foerster and Wisdom, so we have that covered, and defense in order finally, so why not trade Konecky(not that i dislike Konecky or doubt his playing skills, i just think that he is the best piece to offer in trade) for center!?
