Anyone who believes G is even close to Clarke should stop watching hockey. Forget about the all around clutch of Mr Clarke which no other Flyer has possessed since, and that includes some very talented players within the last 40 years. Clarke also had talent and would obliterate G even on his passing skills which is Gs best asset. Clarke s passing was better and his vision ranks with the all time best... No doubt!

Team has regressed since last season. Some key players have either been coasting, or are non factors and it shows. Maybe they lost something over time. Worse yet, some of the Flyer’s better players are “freezing up” at crunch time.

It cracks me up that in a poll last year, I believe Flyer fans ranked Claude Giroux, being better than Bob Clarke. Giroux was good, but not even close to Clarke’s 200 foot, all around game and scoring ability. Giroux has never been a dominant player. When it was crunch time, Clarke was always clutch, but not Giroux. Giroux has been a very good player, but a go to guy at crunch time?.....no way. Actually, Voracek and Hayes are much better 200 foot players than Giroux, also, the loss of Sean Couturier has been huge. Had he been on the ice against Boston, the Flyers probably win both Boston games. Gregg Lorenz, Bucks Co.
